The new Intellectual Property Policy of South Africa has now been posted to a government website. The Intellectual Property Policy of the Republic of South Africa Phase I is now available on the Department of Trade and Industry website here. The new policy addresses numerous core issues such as patentability criteria, parallel importation, disclosure requirements, exceptions, and research.
