The draft was prepared by the chair of the WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR), which will meet later this spring. The draft text, entitled “Revised Consolidated Text On Definitions, Object Of Protection, Rights To Be Granted And Other Issues, is available here [pdf]. The text covers subjects such as definitions, objects of protection, rights to be granted, beneficiaries, limitations and exceptions, and includes alternatives. The committee chair is Daren Tang Heng Shim of Singapore. The full Intellectual Property Watch report of the last SCCR meeting is available here (IPW, WIPO, 21 November 2017).
