WIPO GREEN Seeks Consultants For Tech Deals In Asia-Pacific

The World Intellectual Property Organization program on intellectual property and environmental technology is looking for consultants to catalyze green tech transactions in the Asia-Pacific region.

WIPO GREEN announced on 16 November that it is seeking to pay a consultant or consultants for a project related to clean energy, air, water and agriculture in the Asia-Pacific region.

Consultants needed for project on clean energy, air, water, and agriculture

November 16, 2017

WIPO GREEN will commission a consultant(s) for a project on clean energy, air, water, and agriculture in the Asia-Pacific Region covering Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Viet Nam.

The project will aim to catalyze green tech transactions that respond to current needs in the region, in an environmentally sustainable way. To do so, the consultant(s) should meet two key objectives:

  • In phase one, identify specific technology needs related to energy, air, water, and agriculture in the region.
  • In phase two, match those needs with available green technologies.

Phase one of the assignment will start December 15, 2017.

How to apply

Qualified individuals and organizations are invited to submit their applications with their expected daily remuneration rate in Swiss francs (daily rate) and CV if relevant, by November 26, 2017 to wipo.green@wipo.int with the following subject line: FIT Project Application. Both individuals and organizations may apply.

Travel arrangements are the responsibilities of the incumbent and related costs should be included in the quote.

The consultancy is home-based. For phase one of the project, applicants should be based in one of the following countries: Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Viet Nam.
