WIPO Changes: New Head Of Global Health, Search On For Next Global Challenges Director

The World Intellectual Property Organization has a new head of Global Health, and the Global Challenges Division is hunting for its next director.

Charles Randolph, former deputy director, Office of Intellectual Property Enforcement, United States Department of State, has  taken over as the head of Global Health, in the Global Challenges Division.

He replaced Thomas Bombelles, also an American, who recently moved over to be head of Nongovernmental and Industry Relations Section at WIPO.

Meanwhile, Anatole Krattiger, director of the Global Challenges Division has made plans to leave WIPO around the end of the year.

WIPO has issued a job announcement for the director of the Global Challenges Division, Department for Traditional Knowledge and Global Challenges, Global Issues Sector. The job announcement is here. The application deadline is 25 October 2017.
