This meeting of the WSIS Forum marks ten years since the first phase of the summit was held in Geneva in 2003. The WSIS Forum will review and measure progress towards targets set at the second phase of the WSIS in 2005. More than 1,500 participants from government, private sector, civil society and international organisations will gather to discuss diverse topics, such as ICT infrastructure, cyber security, enabling environment, e-learning, e-health, e-agriculture, media, accessibility, and ethics, according to an International Telecommunication Union (ITU) press release. The WSIS Forum this year is jointly organised by the ITU, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and UN Development Programme (UNDP).
