Said by World Health Organization Director General Margaret Chan to be “a breakthrough that will benefit many millions of people for many years to come,” the report outlines practical measures for using the intellectual property system to promote innovation to achieve public health goals, particularly on diseases which disproportionately affect developing country or underserved areas.
